Food was good but service was better our server Ciaran had great customer service and had our whole table laughing. He was super friendly and chatty gave the whole atmosphere a very welcoming feel.

My partner and I, took her elderly farther for a carvery. When we got there, we were welcomed by a member of staff and seated.
Our waitress was brilliant, but after a while, the farther in law, wanted to take most of his home as he eats slow and gets full, so likes to graze and didn't want to waste the food.
As I have experienced before, we asked for a takeaway tub. The very nice lady serving gave us one. I asked another waitress for another tub, which I offered to pay for as it seemed to be a problem. She said Toby don't give out tubs. She said we could have cling film!!
I asked the manager, Rachel Brown who said it was company policy, and again I was offered cling film. I asked why I had already been allowed one? She asked which member had given it, then said she was Obviously no doing what she had been told. She them called the staff member over and in front of customers and staff, processed to give her a very unprofessional talking to.
The waitress quickly left, visibily distressed and crying.
I said it was unprofessional to do that in front of customers, I asked for the regional managers name, which she refused, said the complaint would come to her, RACHEL BROWN, then said she was THE REGIONAL TRAINER, ITS HER STORE AND SHE WILL DO WHAT SHE LIKES!!
I have spoken to customer services and I was told that I would be called back, nearly 2 weeks late I'm still waiting.

Ciaran was so funny and friendly! We have been coming here for years and we are never disappointed. The new roast potatoes with the sage and onion are DIVINE!!!!!! This is definitely our favourite place to dine :)

The food was very good. The waiter, Cieran, was very polite and kind, with a positive energy. He was also very attentive and excellent at his job. I will definitely return to this place.The atmosphere was also welcoming and the service was excellent. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great dining experience!

I have to be honest, I wasnt impressed with the food. Good selection, just not high on flavor. The sides were a big disappointment in the flavor arena. The gravy was excellent though! And the staff was all extremely friendly and helpful! Its an interesting take - Sunday roast every day (like American Thanksgiving).

We had Jason today, and he was just amazing. He was attentive, and spoke to everyone with ease and enthusiasm. He is a credit to the team. The restaurant was quite hot, and he was able to identify this and helped me cool down and made the sure for rest of the dinner I was okay. Thank you Jason!!

We went here last week, we had originally plnned to go to the Toby at Northampton but that is closed temporarily for a refurb, not been here for a few years to be honest. We had a groupon voucher for 2 people 2 courses for £22.99, which is excellent value. We ordered a portion of pigs in blankets to go with our carvery, which in hindsight you dont need to do if you take the offer of the free upgrade to kingsize as you get 2 big sausages with it, the meat was cooked absolutely beautifully we both had just turkey, but there was also, beef, pork, & gammon, the veg were all lovely as well, nice amount of choice, but the roast potatoes cooked in beef dripping were absolutely lovely, i actually went up twice more. We both had the honeycomb ice cream sundae for dessert, that was also lovely, i did see other food coming out which all looked as nice. The staff were all lovely from the lady who checked us in & took drinks order who went off shift after that, to the lad serving the carvery, {not stingy with the meat, thank goodness}, to our server who looked after us, & fetched my drink as i didn't know where the refill machine was. Ciaran Rinaldi was very sociable, & personable just the type of personality you need to be working with the public. There is adequate parking outside, & blue badge spaces, we will be going again, we have sad if we can it will be a monthly outing, we will try the Northampton one as well, as my daughter said it was good, but i have no doubt if they keep up the level of service & food, this will be one of our favourites.
